For me, social and emotional education in Lithuania is like a river created by small streams. LSEUA members are ready to make it wide and vibrant. To be a member and participant of this positive flow means to cultivate and spread the message about education, without which we can no longer imagine the future of Lithuanian education, which also means the future of all Lithuanian children. It is good that together we can fill these educational gaps and contribute to creating a coherent picture of holistic education.

The association was founded by educational enthusiasts who believed that there are many hearts in Lithuanian schools that care more than just the academic achievements of children and the rankings of schools. It is very good to see new faces every year that complement our circle and changes in education that create value for Lithuanian children, teachers and parents. Thank you for sharing, taking the initiative, and believing that social and emotional education is a very important part of school content that creates change.

Social emotional education is the development of a person’s social skills, such as self-esteem and respect for others. And this has a significant impact on the further formation and behavior of the personality.

2021-2023 Objectives of the LSEUA Council:

  • Increase the awareness of the organization.

  • Activate member participation and dissemination of activities.

  • Look for ways to communicate with members, parents and the public.

  • Search for administration solutions (data management, accounting)

  • Become a "advocates" for SEU.
